Insurance Policyholders

Insured by your employer?

Depending on your provider, part of your purchase could be reimbursed.

For a reimbursement:

  1. Navigate to the My account section
  2. Click on Orders and download the sales receipt from your purchase.
  3. Print out the receipt.
  4. Mail the receipt to your insurance company..

Students

Are you a student?

The Government of Quebec’s AFE program will reimburse up to 187$ every two years towards the purchase of your glasses.

According to our calculations, that adds up to one free pair of glasses (Single Vision) per year! Wonderful, isn’t it?

To be reimbursed :

1. Download your sales receipt (My Account > Orders )
2. Download and fill out the government form (click here)
3. Attach a copy of your prescription.
4. Send them electronically or by mail to the address listed on the form.

Emploi Quebec benefits

Receiving Emploi Quebec benefits?

The Government of Québec’s Social Assistance program will reimburse you:

- 50$ per frame

- From 29$ to 82$ for two Single Vision lenses (depending on your prescription)
- From 58$ to 167$ for two Progressives lenses (depending on your prescription)
- 8$ for scratch proofing treatments (for dependent children only).

Important : Your reimbursal request must be filed after your online purchase is complete.

To be reimbursed:

1. Obtain a copy of the "Request for payment of lenses and a frame" form, available at your local employment centre
2. In the "Recipient’s Request", section, tick either the "Myself" or "Family Member" box
3. Sign and date the form.
4. Send the form by mail to : Pourquoi Pas Eyewear / 422 Richards St, Suite 170, Vancouver, BC, V6B 2Z4

We’ll take care of the rest and send the form back to your employment centre.
They will then send you a reimbursal cheque within 1 to 2 months.
