This site is administered by us, Pourquoi Pas Eyewear (LPP), a company incorporated under the laws of the Province of British Columbia, at 422 Richards St, Suite 170, Vancouver, BC , V6B 2Z4. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between you and LPP. If you refuse these general conditions, LPP will not be able to complete your request.


The LPP site sells ophthalmic glasses with prescriptions directly online, when the parameters allow it. It will be up to one of our professionals to assess whether the order and the customer's file are sufficiently complete to approve the transaction, in accordance with the laws in force. LPP reserves the right to refuse certain orders.

We cover all strengths between -8 to +6, cylinder up to 3 and maximum addition +3.50. However, in some situations, the chosen frame may not fit your prescription.


By using this site, you are responsible for the quality and proper functioning of the computer equipment used for the purpose of browsing the LPP site. LPP can in no way be held liable for damages, in any form, caused while using the website.

How does our referral program work?

Start by inviting your friends from the "Referral Program" tab in your online file. Thanks to you, they will automatically receive a $5 discount code when they register.

As soon as a friend makes a purchase of glasses on our site, you too will receive a $5 discount which will be added to your discounts already accumulated thanks to this program.

What are the terms of use of the program?

To receive the $5, referred friends must enter your email address when registering. Your email address must be the one you used to register on our site. The friends you refer must not yet be registered on our site and must not have been invited by another person before you.

For you to receive the $5 off a friend's first order, your friend must have bought at least one pair of eyeglasses and/or placed an order of at least $60. If this condition is not verified, no discount will be added to your file.

How to use your referral discount code?

When a referral code is associated with your file, it will be automatically displayed in your basket. You will only have to enter it and validate it in the box provided for this purpose for it to be applied to your order.

If you or a friend you refer requests a refund, the amount of the referral discount will be returned to his/her account and only the amount paid by credit card will be refunded to the card used during payment initial.

Referral discount codes are valid for 1 year from the last discount obtained thanks to your friends.

Some promotional offers may use discount codes that cannot be combined with sponsorship coupons. In this case, you will only be able to use one of the two discount codes at your convenience.

The site offers to try frames at home. This offer includes all the frames offered on our site unless otherwise indicated in the detailed sheets. This offer is only available for shipments within Canada. This offer makes it possible to receive at home from 1 to 6 frames of the Customer's choice. These frames are shipped without corrective lenses. In the case of our "sun" section, the frames are sent with tinted shells which are not representative of the ophthalmic sun lenses (tints and opacity) sold during a complete purchase. This frame trial offer does not create an obligation to purchase afterwards.

Terms & Pricing
A home trial may include 1 to a maximum of 6 frames per shipment to a Canadian mailing address only. The price of the home trial is $25 plus tax per shipment. This amount is a participation of the customer in the postage of sending and return and handling costs.
An invoice will be sent to the Customer. This amount is payable immediately, by credit card only, to validate the test order at home. The frame(s) sent for home testing must be returned within 10 clear days from the date of delivery in the original packaging.
Once the choice of frame has been made and the payment of $25+taxes by credit card has been made, Pourquoi Pas Eyewear prepares the order for shipment. The frame(s) are sent with a postage-paid return label at no additional cost to the Customer. For the return, simply put the frame(s) back in the original box, then stick the label on the envelope containing the box and finally drop off the package at a Canadian post office.

Non-return or damage
In the event of non-return of the frame (or frames) in its packaging, in the event of a partial return, and in the event of the return of the frame (or frames) degraded, the Customer is liable to the deduction of the amount of the regular sale price of the frame (or frames). This direct debit is made by using the credit card used at the time of the order.
Pourquoi Pas Eyewear has a period of 10 working days from receipt to check the condition of the returned frames.

Reimbursement of expenses
Lunetterie Pourquoi Pas provides the customer with a personal discount code worth $25, valid for any purchase of $200 or more including a pair of glasses with prescription lenses on our site at regular price and carried out within 30 days of receipt of the trial. Maximum one trial refunded per order, not combinable with other offers or coupons.

Return of merchandise
In the event of a return of merchandise, the trial participation fee ($25) will not be refunded. The other terms of our return policy remain in effect. However, no returns due to choice of frame will be accepted.


Pourquoi Pas eyewear does not skimp on the quality and reliability of its products. So we offer you or guarantee of replacement if the frame or the lenses are defective. Warranty periods depending on the chosen warranty (regular, extended or total).


  • A. You must send a photo showing the defect of the frame or lens to the following e-mail address:
  • B. Describe defiance in this same email if not visible.
  • C. We do not guarantee the following reasons: normal wear, scratches, accidental breakage, items damaged by excessive heat or abrasive products, unsuitable use.


Our guarantees apply to all our glasses with or without prescription. To be eligible, it's very simple:

  • 1. The request must be made by email or by calling the toll-free number 1-855-422-6323 within the time frame specified in your warranty (regular, extended or total);
  • 2. In the case of optical lenses, a copy of the prescription must have been provided to us prior to manufacture;
  • 3. If we don't have a copy of your prescription, send it to us (photo or pdf by email)
  • 4. Customer service will validate your request and give you all the information.
  • 5. Return your order to us in the original condition
  • 6. Upon receipt of the package, we will check and then exchange.

Guidelines and conditions:

  • 1. Eyeglasses must be in their original condition and returned in their box with all accessories (linen, case, tips).
  • 2. Only one exchange possible per order (an exchange is considered a final sale)
  • 3. The customer is responsible for the product until destination and must ensure that the glasses are well protected against loss or damage that may occur during transport
  • 4. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • 5. Lunetterie Pourquoi Pas reserves the right to refuse the guarantee to customers who abuse this policy or who have not respected our advice in the choice of frame, lenses and options.
  • 6. No exchange is possible due to choice of frame when a tryon has been done at home or in store.
  • 7. Any exchange under our guarantees is for the same frame (except case 6) and the same prescription.
  • 8. "Extended" or "total protection" warranties apply only to the pair of glasses selected at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred to other orders or other glasses in the same order.
  • 9. Our guarantees do not apply in the case of a prescription error or a bad choice of lenses on the part of the customer (wrong entry, bad prescription or expired prescription, bad progressive/single vision choices);
  • 10. Our warranties do not cover normal wear and tear of lenses and frames;
  • 11. Our guarantees do not cover accidental breakage, except for frame breakage if you have chosen the total protection plan.
